Issue activity digital certificates

A Digital Certificate is a micro-credential that Owners of Organiser’s Account can issue to users who joined the activity.

A certificate will contain the following data:
  • Earner’s display name
  • Activity title
  • Description field with a customisable text of limited length
  • Issuer’s organisation name
  • Endorsing organizations
  • Badges earned in the activity by the time of certificate issuing

In an activity, there is a possibility to issue only one standard design certificate with an editable description text for all activity participants.

Set up and issue Digital Certificates in an activity:

  1. Open an activity in which you want to issue digital certificates.
  2. Next to an Actions button click to the context menu (three dots) and click on the Edit activity.
  3. Scroll down to the section Project certificate in the activity settings.
  4. Check the box to ‘Enable certificates in this activity’.
  5. Fill in required fields and select available certificate options.
  6. Scroll down and click Publish.
  7. Go to the People tab.
  8. Find the user you want to issue an activity certificate. Note! There is a possibility to issue an activity certificate to all activity users using one click of the button. Navigate next to an Activity Actions button click to the context menu (three dots) and click on the Generate certificates for all.
  9. Click on that user's context menu (3 dots on the right side of the screen).
  10. Click Generate certificate. The platform will notify certificate earners via email and internal notification.
Note! By default settings, issued activity certificates may be publicly accessible, searchable, and downloadable.
